This is an Annual Report by Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire. the report summarises work between 2024-25.

15,930 people shared their experiences of health and social care services, helping to raise awareness of issues and improve care. 19,750 people came for clear advice and information on topics such as mental health support and finding an NHS dentist.

We published 11 reports about the improvements people would like to see in areas like Men’s health, Diabetes and Hypertension.

Key projects included:

  •  ‘Behind Closed Doors: Shining a Light on Child and Adolescent to Parent Violence and Abuse (CAPVA)’, which brought attention to the experiences of parents struggling to access the support they need.
  • Hidden abuse.
  • Delayed mental health discharge.
