Healthwatch Wokingham Borough report on their key achievements in 2024/25. During this period, they:

  • Supported 314 people to share experiences and 2065 people to access reliable health and social care information.
  • Published 4 reports spotlighting improvements in sexual health for young women, GP access, dentistry for those with learning disabilities, and broader learning disability services.
  • Conducted an Enter & View visit at Wokingham Medical Centre, leading to enhanced access and care for 29,000 patients, and collaborated on the rollout of a Reasonable Adjustment Passport in community dentistry.
  • Championed women’s health, working with regional colleagues to launch pilot Women’s Health Hubs, and engaged South Asian women to improve inclusivity and access—prompting updates to cervical screening communications and translation services.
