Annual Report 2024-2025

Healthwatch Reading report on their key achievements in 2024/25. During this period, they:

• Supported over 1,683 people to share their experiences and access health and care information.
• Influenced the local oral health strategy through community research on children’s dental care, leading to funding for an oral hygiene campaign.
• Improved access to translation and interpretation services, including website updates, patient-held translation cards, and virtual interpreter pilots.
• Engaged communities on key issues like women’s health, GP access, young women’s sexual health, and NHS treatment eligibility, driving service improvements and stronger community trust.
