Summary of report content

Healthwatch Leicester and Healthwatch Leicestershire report on their key achievements for 2023/24.  During this period:

  • 8,040 people shared their experiences of health and social care with them
  • 8821 people came to them for clear advice and information
  • They published 12 reports, including one on asylum seekers' access to health and social care
  • They made a difference to a number of areas, including dementia care, asylum seekers, empowering Bangladeshi women to discuss concerns with service providers, community diagnostic centres and engaging with LGBTQ+ communities.
