Summary of report content

Healthwatch Kingston upon Hull reports on its activities and achievements for the year 2022/23. During the year it:

  • Heard from 1870 people who shared their experience of health and social care with them, gave 10,180 people advice and information.
  • Published sixteen reports.
  • Influenced a number of issues, including getting a local GP practice to adopt a new telephone system that is more accessible for elderly and vulnerable patients, ensuring the public’s voice is heard in the development of neurodiversity services for children and young people, and providing written evidence to the government’s Health and Social Care Committee’s inquiry into NHS dentistry.
