Healthwatch Cheshire East report on their achievements for 2020/21.

43 volunteers helped them to carry out their work. They employed 6 staff and received £167,992 in funding from the local authority.

They heard from 1,913 people this year about their experiences of health, social care and wellbeing.

They engaged with, supported, and provided advice and information to 22,988 people online, on social media, by email, over the telephone, and face-to-face during the COVID-19 pandemic this year.

They supported the COVID-19 vaccination process at 3 vaccination centres across 13 days.

They published 28 reports about the improvements people would like to see with their health and social care, and from this, made recommendations for improvement.

The report also sets out the changes Healthwatch Cheshire East secured to the delivery of health and social care.
