Summary of report content

Healthwatch Rutland reported on their activities during 2018-19. These included: championing people’s rights to be consulted about the relocation of intensive care beds in local hospitals; starting up Young Healthwatch Rutland; receiving feedback on eligibility for non-emergency patient transport and closing gaps between GP and urgent care services; gathering the views and experiences of the local Armed Forces community.

Healthwatch Rutland also reported on: how they have provided people with advice and information; the work of their team of volunteers; celebrating success; finances; and plans for the next year. The report also features messages from Healthwatch Rutland’s Chair, CEO, Manager and the Healthwatch England Chair.
