Summary of report content

Healthwatch Torbay's Annual Report covers several topics: highlights of the 2018/2019 year, how they've made a difference, how they've helped to answer people's questions, championing their community, working with partners, their finances and their plans for the next year.

Over the past year, Torbay has met hundreds of local people at community events and has engaged with nearly 326,000 people via their Facebook and Twitter pages. They have released 12 feedback reports on issues such as learning disability support, drug & alcohol services and what young people feel about living in Torbay.

Their award-winning pilot Digital Project has been funded further so they can continue to show more people how to access local health, social care and wellbeing services in Torbay using the internet. They have provided people with advice and information through The Fair Project and Advocacy Support.

This report contains other outcomes in urgent care, ambulance services and patient participation groups at a glance.
