Summary of report content

Since  April 2013 through numerous engagements, Healthwatch Derby have regularly picked up feedback about the services of Derby Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. A&E services have been highlighted regularly by service users at various engagement platforms such as workshops, focus groups, outreach activities.  They spoke to 315 people.

The data shows negative trends highlighting over use of A&E due to lack of other resources such as GP appointments, and lack of adequate information about other care pathways.
