Summary of report content

This report was written by Healthwatch Blackburn and Darwen following a research project on adult carers. Questionnaires and face to face questionnaires were used.

The report was published November, 2016. It is based on survey responses. A total of 83 people’s comments were captured.

Overall people were negative about the challenges they faced as carers. There was often too little good quality support or advice available, despite the existence of a few notable groups.

A set of recommendations has been made. No response from providers is attached.
