Summary of report content

Healthwatch Norfolk wrote a briefing about access to dentistry, using a multitude of different ways to get feedback. They spoke to 152 people.

They found that NHS dental provision in Norfolk is very limited.  Many dentists aren’t able to take on new NHS patients. Vulnerable patients are missing out on treatment.

Very few practices have a waiting list or emergency treatment available to non-registered NHS patients.  Patients are being forced to go private for treatment.
