Summary of report content

Following the six Enter and View visits across Healthwatch Slough, Bracknell Forest and Windsor Ascot and Maidenhead, the Healthwatch team produced a summary report of the key themes found in 2025.

Hospital discharge continued to be an area which needs improvement along with mental health support.

Activities which increased strength and balance were also noted as being important for residents, although it was acknowledged that this could be challenging to do safely with pressures on staff numbers in the care home sector.

Ideas on preventing falls and identifying walking frames were also shared.
