  • understand patients’ experiences of accessing GP services and whether the Dudley GP Practice Charter has improved care.
  • explore awareness and use of pharmacy services as an alternative to GP visits.

  • GP Access: There was mixed feedback; some patients reported long waits for appointments, others had positive experiences using online forms and NHS app.
  • Pharmacy Use: Some customers used Jhoots for minor ailments and were satisfied. Awareness of Pharmacy First was low.
  • Patient Charter: None of the people interviewed were aware of the Dudley GP Practice Charter.
  • Healthcare Team Awareness: there was limited knowledge of roles beyond doctors and nurses.
