Healthwatch Calderdale and Healthwatch Kirklees undertook an announced enter and view visit to Bridge House Care Home on 22 May 2025.

Care had gone into the design of the home and the management had planned further changes to enhance the environment.

Residents spoke highly of the staff and the care they received.  Staff said they enjoyed working at the home and had no suggestions for improvements.

Visitors emphasized the need for better planning of activities and opportunities for social interaction.  Both residents and visitors felt that the quality and variety of food could be improved.
