Summary of report content

Healthwatch Liverpool undertook an announced enter and view visit to Marmaduke Street on 11 February 2025.  They spoke to 5 residents.

Healthwatch found Marmaduke Street care home to be clean but possibly in need of some updating of the communal environments. They were pleased to hear about the plans to move the nursing stations, as they are quite far removed from many of the residents at the current time.

It is difficult for Healthwatch to judge staffing levels during a relatively short visit. Where 1- 2-1 care is being provided staff may have to ‘sit around’ which can be negatively perceived by other residents and families who may feel their relative is being left at that time.

This report has three recommendations.
