Summary of report content

Healthwatch Nottingham and Healthwatch Nottinghamshire and the local Maternity Voice Partnership set up an ethnic minority working group of 11 people to look at maternity care for women from ethnic minority backgrounds. The aim was to review national report recommendations about maternity care improvements and research on ethnic minority communities and agree key recommendations for local hospital trusts.

The report also poses questions for hospital trusts to answer and sets out next steps.
