Summary of report content

Healthwatch Bucks visited the Marlow Community Hospital on 23 April 2025. A total of 16 people provided their views, nine patients, two relatives and five members of staff. This was an announced visit.

Patients were very satisfied with their care and treatment, noting that the location of the hospital hub was convenient for them and that the staff were excellent. However, parking was an issue for some, and some people reported out-of-date information on Google and NRS Healthcare regarding contact numbers and equipment collection services, respectively. During the visit, Healthwatch Bucks observed that the temperature in the hospital hub was very hot and saw that two patients had turned up at clinics on the wrong day. Challenges for staff included limited parking, issues with estate maintenance services, and ensuring that NRS Healthcare deliver equipment that matches the exact specification given.

Healthwatch Bucks made seven recommendations.
