Summary of report content

Healthwatch Slough visited Windmill Care Centre in April 2024 and revisited the home in April 2025 to see how the home was progressing with the recommendations. This is the updated report following this visit.

Healthwatch Slough spoke to the manager and took photos to demonstrate the changes that had taken place. Some of the changes were as follows:

The home had undergone a major redecoration since the visit with each of the three floors having its own colour scheme.

Hot and Cold taps had been clearly marked.

Activities had been moved to the lounge where there was more space.

Both the garden and dining room had been changed in accordance with the recommendations.
