Summary of report content

Healthwatch Birmingham sets out its achievements for 2021/22 in its annual report.

During this year:

  • 8,008 people shared their experiences of health and social care services
  • 5,430 people received advice and information
  • They published four reports, including one about access to mental health services for children and young people

The biggest projects they’ve worked on during the year include:

  • Chairing the West Birmingham Covid-19 vaccine hesitancy group
  • Publishing a report into Birmingham and Solihull residents’ experiences of health and social care during the second lockdown
  • Producing videos in Somali with a local CCG
  • Meeting with local dental committees to discuss how access to NHS dentistry can be improved.
