Healthwatch Sefton analysed their feedback about GP surgeries during 2021.  During this period, they received 134 reviews.

They heard about:

  • Problems booking appointments, particularly by phone
  • The consultation, including face-to-face, e-consult and phone
  • Access to regular routine health checks
  • Access to prescriptions
  • GP surgeries offering services from different sites – causing patients stress having to travel and use public transport during Covid-19. 
  • Staff attitude which was mostly positive
