Healthwatch Kent have shared two case studies where their intervention made a difference to people who were trying to access NHS dental treatment. One person had a long-term health condition and needed a dental checkup before their doctor agreed to a change in their medication. The other person was pregnant and homeless. The report estimates the amount worth of social value Healthwatch Kent have saved via these efforts, as well as saving direct costs for the two individuals.
