Every year care homes from across Kent come together for a conference organised by the Kent Integrated Care Alliance. Healthwatch Kent conducted research on how covid has affected views on care homes, to be shared at the conference.
In total, Healthwatch Kent heard from 244 people. 46% of people said that Covid had affected their thoughts about a relative living in a care home, whilst 78% felt Covid had made it harder to get care at home. The report identifies several ways Covid has impacted how people feel about care homes.
