Summary of report content

Healthwatch Oxfordshire completed a mystery shopping exercise and presented it to the Oxfordshire Safeguarding Adult Board (OSAB) in June 2019. Following improvements, the OSAB asked Healthwatch Oxfordshire to re-run the exercise in May 2021, using the same criteria.

The mystery shopper simulated someone being concerned for their elderly neighbour and looking for information and support online. The report summarises the experience of raising a concern about someone via Oxford County Council Social and Health care page. The report makes some recommendations for simplifying the form a user is required to fill out, as well as some recommendations around making information more obvious and accessible on the website.
