Summary of report content

Healthwatch Bucks carried out an Enter and View visit to find out about people’s experiences of attending Animal Antiks community opportunities.  They aim to build confidence, knowledge, and self-esteem, whilst developing key social, life and work skills, using the farm environment as a backdrop. They offer farm therapy, work experience, wellbeing walks and post-16 training.

The report highlights what they discovered during their visit, which included:

  • How people were treated
  • How has it helped people who attend Animal Antiks
  • How their experiences could be further improved

Healthwatch made two recommendations based on their observation and interactions with people on the day. The report contains a response from the service providers.
