Healthwatch Bucks carried out an announced Enter & View visit to find out about people’s experiences of attending community opportunities at the Princes Centre, which offers day support to older people with dementia or those who feel isolated, adults with learning disabilities, and those with mental health difficulties.
Healthwatch Bucks spoke to 9 clients and 5 members of staff. They also observed interactions between those people, 11 other clients, and 5 other staff members.
They found that staff were very welcoming and had a good relationship with attendees, who were overall very positive about the Princes Centre. Attendees enjoyed a range of activities including sports, arts and crafts, singing, and more.
