Summary of report content

Healthwatch Blackburn with Darwen, Healthwatch Blackpool, Healthwatch Cumbria undertook research about what people wanted from the services provided by Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust.  They spoke to 74 people.

The report covers people’s experiences and views on the following services:

  • Dentistry
  • Adult and Older Adult Mental Health inpatient units
  • Home treatment and mental health liaison team
  • CMHT Adults and Older Adults
  • District nursing
  • Moving Well Service

Recommendations included the need for co-production, consistent standards, expectations of care, care plans, multi-agency working, appointment times, a choice of face to face and remote appointments, booking processes and staff training.
