Summary of report content

Healthwatch Bromley undertook an enter and view to Clairleigh Nursing Home, which offers nursing, respite, and residential care for people over the age of 65, on 30 September 2020. A total of five Enter  and  View  Authorised  Representatives in  two  groups undertook the virtual visit.

One group spoke to the management team and then using a mobile phone (see below) were shown around the premises. The other group interviewed staff, residents and family members by telephone or video conference. In total, Healthwatch Bromley spoke to 14 people.

Healthwatch Bromley received both positive feedback and feedback for areas of improvement, but overall their impression of Clairleigh Nursing Home was that it was a well-run service that supports its residents holistically.

12 recommendations have been made on how to improve the service and good practice has been highlighted. A response from Clairleigh Nursing Home is included in the report.
