Summary of report content

Healthwatch St Helens undertook a virtual listening event on 3 December 2020 with St Helens Clinical Commissioning Group about the Urgent Treatment Centre, NHS 111 First and how the new tier system applied to the local area. People were able to ask questions of the professionals giving the presentations.

People wanted to know whether treatments were available at the urgent treatment centre, whether a GP and phlebotomy services were on site, whether they can choose to have an appointment at the most convenient hospital to them if they rang NHS 111.
