Healthwatch Oldham undertook a survey on access to dentistry as they had received increasing amounts of feedback on this topic since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. The survey was completed by 67 people.

The main themes of the survey were:

  • Problems in accessing NHS dentistry
  • Private treatment being the only option
  • People cannot afford to pay for private treatment
  • Practices don’t hold waiting lists
