Adult Autism Pathways Report

Summary of report content

This is a report by Healthwatch Westmorland and Furness. The project looks at adult autism pathways in the local area. 

General engagement in the area highlighted the need for further work on how adults with autism were able to access services for their care.

There were 22 people spoken to for this project, 18 of which were recorded as case studies.

There are key findings related to the difficulties accessing care, and around the concern about being labelled.

There are recommendations in this report towards the end which cover a wide range of services.
