Summary of report content

This is a report by Healthwatch Westmoorland and Furness. The project was based on feedback from a member of the public that was concerned about mobility access at their local health centre. There was a new restriction placed on the lift for larger mobility scooters.

The project involved contacting the six services located at the health centre to explore what could be done for those unable to access the lift due to changed in their policy.

A response was provided from the various services on how they would respond to access needs of those with mobility scooters over a certain size.
