Summary of report content

Healthwatch Barnet undertook an enter and view visit to Edgware NHS Walk in Centre on 20 February 2024.  They spoke to 20 people.

All 16 of the patients and visitors interviewed said that they were happy with the service provided at the Walk-In Centre. Several interviewees specifically mentioned finding the staff supportive and helpful. As a result of patient feedback, the centre has created a children’s area in the waiting room, with toys, drawing materials and DVDs.

The report's recommendations mostly relate to the facilities surrounding the Walk-In Centre, such as outside signage and access to refreshments.
