Summary of report content

Healthwatch Sandwell undertook an enter and view visit to the Sandwell General Hospital Discharge Lounge.  They visited it on a number of dates between 11 June and 7 August 2024. They wanted to to observe the environment and explore with patients their experience of the Discharge Lounge as well as their stay in hospital.  They spoke to 15 people in total.

The report looks at:

  • Care on the wards before arriving in the discharge lounge
