Summary of report content

Healthwatch Trafford reported on insight on access to NHS dentistry during the pandemic, using issues reported to their helpline.

During the year 2019/20, they only received 3 enquiries relating to dentistry, compared to 24 during April 2020 to January 2021. 

Most people contacted Healthwatch Trafford because they couldn’t find a dental practice to register them as a new patient.  They also received feedback from people who were unhappy with the service provided.
