Summary of report content

Working in partnership with Health Innovation East (HIE) and the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR), Healthwatch Central Bedfordshire hosted a Diabetes Awareness event on 15th August 2024 at the Rufus Centre in Flitwick, Bedfordshire.

The event was an opportunity for local people to get involved in Diabetes and health research and to learn more about the care and support services available.  69 people attended.

Professionals from five organisations attended the event and gave presentations , followed by a question and answer session.
