Summary of report content

Healthwatch Derby undertook a survey of people to look at their choices and behaviours when using health and social care services during the pandemic. They found that some people changed their choices and behaviour- they chose not to access certain services during the pandemic which they would have accessed during ‘normal times’ as they were either anxious about catching COVID-19 or did not want to over burden the services. Some could not attend the appointments as they were suspended or cancelled.
