Summary of report content

Healthwatch Surrey engaged with over 100 people to gather their experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The report found that people praised health and social care. Throughout the pandemic Healthwatch Surrey heard of the detriment to physical and mental wellbeing caused by not being able to visit loved ones in care homes. As restrictions have eased people are beginning to question the fairness and implications of care home visiting policies. Mixed experiences were reported about digital access to GP appointments.
