Summary of report content

Healthwatch Leicester and Healthwatch Leicestershire undertook an enter and view visit to Brockshill Woodlands care home on 26 July 2023.

The report reflects the good practice that Healthwatch observed on the day of our visit. They found the staff, management and residents welcoming. They observed that the residents seemed well cared for. The home accommodates and meets residents' personal, cultural and lifestyle needs. There are activities every day if residents wish to participate. Residents seem well cared for and their needs are maintained and outings are organised if the minibus is available.

The report contains four recommendations about residents meetings, a board with activities, up to date information on the website and recruiting an activity co-ordinator.
