Summary of report content

My Health, Our Future is Healthwatch Suffolk;'s project exploring the mental health and wellbeing of children and young people in Suffolk.

Children and young people take part in a survey about their wellbeing.

The survey includes questions about things like body image, self-esteem, harmful online content, resilience, self-harm, screen time and other issues.

There are also measures of wellbeing and self-esteem that are widely used in research that mean these results can be compared with national studies.

Generally, the survey is delivered as part of a co-produced lesson plan on mental health and wellbeing in school, which has helped to ensure an excellent response rate.

Healthwatch talked to a couple of schools in Haverhill about how they have used their reports to improve student wellbeing.
