Healthwatch Staffordshire conducted an Enter and View to Chadsmoor Medical Practice in February 2020. 21 patients completed surveys about their experiences of the surgery.
The report found that signage to the medical centre is not easily seen by people who are unfamiliar with the area. The waiting room is small and there is an electronic calling system . The posters are not accessible as they are in small print and black and white. There is no privacy at the receptionist’s desk. There is a friends and family box visible in the waiting room, however it is not clearly signed and is not clear what it is for.
Patients reported that the ease of getting an appointment varied. Patients were positive about their experiences with the reception desk, including privacy and friendliness. Patients reported using alternative services when they were unable to get an appointment.
A number of recommendations were made for the surgery to address.
The service did not provide a response.
