Summary of report content

Healthwatch Tower Hamlets report on the results of a survey on people’s health and wellbeing during the Covid-19 pandemic.  They have had 264 respondents to date.

Over 3 in 5 of respondents found it easy to find clear and understandable information about what to do to keep themselves and others safe during the pandemic. The internet was the most used information source.  Most people were doing activities to help themselves stay well whilst in lockdown, including indoors and outdoors exercise and keeping in contact with friends and family online or by phone. The pandemic had had a number of impacts on people’s mental health, including worrying about their own health and that of family and friends.

The report also looks at the impact of the pandemic on accessing healthcare, working life and community involvement.
