Carey Lodge had introduced pictorial menus, added memory pictures to residents’ front doors, recruited mini-bus drivers, extended and improved their activity programme and undertaken care reviews of residents.

Ryeview Manor had improved access to drinks, given residents better explanations of food choices, involved residents in laying tables for lunch, improving the range of and information about activities available and residents being given the option of having baths.
