Summary of report content

Healthwatch South Tees identified a need for women to understand how they could get support with the menopause.  They held an event and a short survey.  180 people responded to the survey and 170 people attended the event

The report focuses on the event, and includes details of the speakers and case studies.

The survey identified that women wanted more support and understanding from GPs, consideration of family history and other conditions, a dedicated service for menopause management, educating staff and follow up appointments.
