Summary of report content

Healthwatch East Sussex report on the action they have taken on some of the feedback they receive from the public in March 2024.

Issues highlighted included:

  • Access to interpreters
  • Access to support post discharge
  • Access to NHS dentistry

They also attended information events for the migrant community in Eastbourne and Hastings; met with the patient experience lead at HMP Lewes to understand how healthcare is delivered in prison and visited a local hospice.
