Enter and View: Ravenscourt Nursing Home

On 22^nd November 2019, Healthwatch Havering undertook their third Enter and View visit to Ravenscourt Nursing Home. The aim of the visit was to ensure that all health and social care services delivered at the home are acceptable and the welfare of the residents is not compromised in any way. The home could accommodate 70 residents but had 65 at the time of visit. The home had 84 care staff employed which included management and support/admin/maintenance/activities staff.

The report outlines the findings about the premises, the quality of care residents received and about staff's ability to take care of the residents. The team felt that the home was very motivated and caring, with a relaxed and homely atmosphere, and did not consider it necessary to make any recommendations for improvement.
