Summary of report content

Healthwatch Leicester and Leicestershire reported on their activity during 2018-19. This included: gathering local people's views about the changes they want to see to health and social care; representing the community on the Local Maternity Systems Board and the local Maternity Voices Partnership group; gathering people's experiences of accessing GP services; and providing people with advice and information. The report also includes information about the work of Healthwatch Leicester and Leicestershire's volunteers, finances and plans for the next year.

The report also features messages from the Chair and Manager of Healthwatch Leicester and Leicestershire, and Sir Robert Francis QC, Chair of Healthwatch England.
