Summary of report content

On 29th July 2019, Healthwatch Bucks carried out an Enter & View visit to Woodland Manor Care Home which provides nursing and residential care for 50 people some of whom live with dementia. They found that staff were caring and kind and offered a wide range of activities to the residents every day of the week. Residents were also offered a wide variety of food choices including a café they could use anytime. The home was clean and tidy, and had a quiet, calm atmosphere. Relatives could also join the residents for meals when they wished. The report gave a five-star rating to the overall quality of life at the home. The report made four recommendations; there was no response from the providers in the report.
