On 20th May 2019, Healthwatch Harrow visited the Greenhill Manor Residents Association and heard from 22 people about their experiences of services, what matters most to them and how communication and engagement across services could be improved.
They found that people are generally complimentary about a broad range of services but some cited inconsistencies in GP services. Some people said the lack of funding and provision of services has resulted in a lack of support, for service users, families and carers. People felt that communication and information could be easily improved as well as greater levels of learning across boundaries. Generally, people preferred to see someone they knew but were happy to be seen by any professional if urgent. It was more important to get an appointment at a time that suited them.
The report did not make any recommendations.
