Between 1st April 2018 and 31st March 2019, Healthwatch Harrow collected feedback about people’s experiences of Northwick Park Hospital to find out what people think of their services. Feedback was collected via online portals such as emails and social media as well as via outreach events.
The report found that generally people receive good quality, compassionate treatment and care, however, people did comment on the poor administration and telephone access, and long waiting lists. They reported that levels of information and support as well as waiting times at appointments were an issue. Overall, people found staff to be respectful and professional, and empathetic in A&E, but felt unsupported after discharge.
