Part of the Healthwatch Warrington’s remit is to carry out Enter and View Visits.

Healthwatch Warrington carried out an announced Enter and View visits to Heathercroft Care Home on Thursday 15th March 2018.

The overall findings from the visit included; the leadership and management has improved with the appointment of the new Home Manager, Quality Manager, and the introduction of a new management structure. As a result, all staff that spoke to the visiting team stated that moral had greatly improved. The gradual change of use of Ashcroft Unit is being achieved by working with Warrington Borough Council and other local authorities. Relatives have been fully involved with the placement of their family members.
